Successfully made it yesterday.
Did anyone else follow this recipe and end up with a pot of disgusting slop that tastes like pork water with a lot of chalky rice powder? This was so god awful I had to dump it all in the dumpster. I just wanted to eat some delicious pork rib congee like I used to in Vietnam and I thought it would be fairly easy to make but this definitely is not how it’s done.
I really enjoy your recipes. They give me many ideas,
Tôi thực sự thích công thức nấu ăn của bạn. Họ đưa cho tôi nhiều ý tưởng,
One of my fav! Thanks for sharing!
I like the street food intro. It adds a cultural/travel element. Your videos are better now.
Simple comfort food. Love eating it with sugar, ground pork, fish.

Helen, I looked for the recipe for this on your website and cannot find it. Can you post a link? Thanks! I purchased all the ingredients yesterday and am excited to make it.
I really wanna try this but a meatless version. Any ideas?

That is pretty cool. Rice porridge with ribs and onions. Will have to try it. What exactly are those floss things that were crushed?? Where can I find them?

4 liters does not equal to 8 cups.
Jeeeeesus that looks good!!!
Very interesting way of making chao. Since I grew up eating only the whole grain of rice version, I would have to get used to eating the smoother version. It helps to have all the toppings, though. 🙂
chúc chị giáng sinh an lành và năm mới vui vẻ nha 🌸🌸
Please do more travel videos! I enjoyed this video.
The way you make cháo is different to how my mum makes it, she uses leftover rice and boils it in a pot of water until it's thick 🙂
I love you Helen
I love the way you show the street food then use it as context for your own version recipe. Food and travel, what a life!
I really enjoy your videos.😀
Is this in Vietnam?
Thank you.
This was great, really enjoy your posts. Thank you!
This video makes me miss vietnam. I miss the lively atmosphere lol
Love your videos. More travel videos please
