Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of My Western Horse 3D on the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS developed by Raylight and published by Treva Entertainment.

My Western Horse 3D is a horse racing and simulation game for the Nintendo 3DS. Playing as young Karla, players must prove to Aunt Polly that they’re trustworthy with horses and capable of being a star in the horse-riding world. To do that, you’ll have to make sure your horse is taken care of daily. Brush their coat, comb their hair, pick their horseshoes and get them some exercise before the end of the day, when Aunt Polly will assess your performance. You can also enter beauty pageants and tournaments for various horse riding disciplines, including reining and barrel racing. Aunt Polly also has three different trails to ride your horse on for practice with the game’s tilt mechanics. My Western Horse 3D is controlled with lots of motion control, forcing players to tilt the system to perform most of the horse’s movements. My Western Horse 3D is a single-player game.

This video review features video gameplay footage of My Western Horse 3D on the eShop for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek.

  3. I'd love to see Derek review a horse game with a giant hamster riding it. The hamster could be wearing a big cowboy hat, and squeal "howdy partner"! And a bonus stage would be the horse running in a hamster wheel!

And the horse could be wearing those hamster diapers that Derek commented on in an earlier review! 🙂

  4. Back in my innocent youth I used to love horse riding in Gun. SPUR SPUR SPUR repeatedly until death, next horse. Joy!
